One day I'd love to thoroughly explore the north, revisit the redwoods and sequoias, the owls and wolves.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08397400242153470523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2231002302671100139.post-60018088828117268622013-05-04T11:34:15.039-07:002013-05-04T11:34:15.039-07:00Such a lovely post. Point Reyes, where these elk live, to me is one of the holiest & wildest places around! Big and teeming with wild ones :) And mountain-lion stalked, for sure. Which seems always a good barometer to me of the health of an ecosystem. It is such a big state, it's hard for me to say much with authority about CA besides this little area where I was born and raised, and it being HOME undoubtedly is part of the reason for my devotion. Some day you should wander through. You would fall in love with Point Reyes I have no doubt! xoxox SSylvia Linsteadthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17573366368541906101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2231002302671100139.post-66658465752858372912013-05-03T07:14:34.088-07:002013-05-03T07:14:34.088-07:00I'm so jealous of your experience and of that ...I'm so jealous of your experience and of that gorgeous view available to you! I lived in Los Angeles for a long while, and this really tainted my view of the west, but your posts remind me there are still wide spaces, wild flowers, and peaceful energies in CA still. The wild iris are so beautiful, studding the grass like sapphires. I adore the tiny ears of the baby elks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08397400242153470523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2231002302671100139.post-16260416188327988112013-05-01T13:43:46.500-07:002013-05-01T13:43:46.500-07:00Such a beautiful place, such a beautiful morning, ...Such a beautiful place, such a beautiful morning, so wonderfully described.
